Policies and Warranties Explained

General Policies

1. Prices are non-negotiable. 
2. All prices are subject to change without notice. All items are 
    subject to availability. 
3. There is a minumum order of $40. A $5 handling fee will be 
    added to all orders under $40. 
4. There is a $25 service charge on all returned checks. 
    Customers with one returned check will be placed on COD 
    cash only. 
5. Initial orders are shipped out COD cash.

6. A shipping delay fee of 10% will be charged to all delayed shipments.

10% will be charged to all delayed shipments.

 

 

 


7. Tech support questions may be e-mailed to or faxed
    to 972-216-8832.  A technician will call you back. 
8. Digital Thumb charges $45  an hour, 1 hour minimum,  for  all tech        support on  systems not  assembled by Digital Thumb. 
9. It is the customers responsibility to check all orders. Pick up 
    order descrepancies must be found at the time of pickup. 
    UPS descrepancies must be made within 3 days of receipt. 

Return Policies

1. Digital Thumb offers a one year manufacturers extended warranty. No 
    warranty on CD titles and software. CPU's carry a 30 day  warranty         from date of shipment. 
2. All sales are final for CPU's, software, CD titles, and special order 
    items.  No credit will be issued. 
3. To receive an RMA number, fill out the RMA request form and fax it 
    along with a copy of the original invoice to 972-216-8832. The RMA 
    department will then fax or call with an RMA number. A $20 research 
    fee will be assessed to anyone without the original invoice - no 
    exceptions. RMA numbers will not be issued without a copy of the 
    original invoice. RMA numbers are good for 30 days. 
4. RMA's shipped in (prepaid only) must have RMA number clearly 
    marked on outside box. Shipments without RMA number will be 
    refused. 
5. All returns for credit must be complete with original box, manuals, 
    diskettes or CDs, cables. etc. 
6. Absolutely no products with physical damage will be accepted for 
    RMA. 
7. Wear related products (i.e. keyboards, mice) will be replaced or 
    repaired at our discretion. This is based on the original date of purchase. 
8. We do not offer cash refunds or cross shipments. Digital Thumb will         replace or repair the RMA as soon as possible. 
9. There will be a $10 charge for RMA's returned with no problem found. 
10.There will be a 10% restocking fee on all items returned or exchanged- 
      no exceptions. This does not include RMA replacements. Items are 
      only accepted within 30 days of the original date of purchase complete 
      with box, cables, manuals, diskettes or CDs, etc. No credit or refund 
      will be given after the original 30 days - no exceptions.
